Friday 5th Sept...

was busy. Proceedings started off with talks from Kate Rich and Ali Jones from Bristol's Cube Microplex. Ali gave a quick overview of what the Cube is all about, and about his monthly film night, and online database, 'Bluescreen'.

Kate then explained about a few of the projects she is involved in with BIT (Bureau of Inverse Technology). For more details go to: www.bureauit.org

Kate and Ali had spent the week at Access Space helping out, and we'd like to thank them for their efforts. They took the risk of being the first pair of weekly Access Space volunteers from the Cube, lasting throughout September 03.

Jim Prevett then introduced the Prevett & McArthur exhibition, "I am an artist on Jobseeker's Allowance", showing his latest video work (part of which was created at Access Space using the XMorph software), which is exceptional. The Prevett & McArthur exhibition also contains a set of hand-drawn text and topography-based pieces. For more work, see newdust.org.
