Charron-Laycock 1921
The Charron-Laycock was a high quality "light" car. Its design earned it the reputation of a miniature Rolls Royce. William Samuel Laycock started a railway and steamship fittings company. Charron was a French motor manufacturer who had a majority holding in his company together they branched out into making cars in Sheffield. Between 1919 and 1926 they made somewhere in the region of between 500 to 700 cars. The car was very well made and it was more expensive than the average light car.
